Here is a sneak peek of a book I recently illustrated - soon to be released (this month) by Ladybird Books in the UK and under Cartwheel Books titled "What are Clouds Made of?" in the US.
Amy! congratulations! the book looks super sweet with your illustrations, AND it sounds like a fun book. we read in some book once that morning time is best to water gardens because something happens when birds sing--it triggers plants to drink! i love that. anyway, i'm happy for you and smiling at seeing the sneak peak. can't wait to get it. xojenny
Thanks! I am excited... I haven't seen the actual copies yet.... it is always great to see the finished product with the story line attached to the drawings. Books are so collaborative, I love that.
I now offer professional coaching and mentoring as well as portfolio reviews. If you are an aspiring illustrator and/or surface designer or if you are looking to improve your portfolio, click on the telephone for more information.

(blushing) Oh dear... this isn't FROM the 50's, it's just charming and a bit retro (not to mention European). Bravo. Love it.
