Just took this photo on my deck this morning.... I have seen these guys flying around the lake since I moved here almost thirteen years ago and I finally got a good photo of one. Do you believe this color? I promise you, the colors were not altered a bit.

Once when on holiday in France, sat by a mill pond I turned my head to see a dragonfly sat on my shoulder! The colour was amazing, but I'm afraid I was rather startled and it flew away!
Did you know dragonflies are the most closely related creature to dinosaurs that currently are on earth?
