Give Away Times Five
Robert Kaufman sent me ten fat quarter bundles to give away - I am giving five locally and five virtually - that means you. Bundles include On A Whim owls in all three colors (Earth, Aqua, and Pistachio) and four coordinating RK solids. I'd love to be in the draw, not for me , but for my Mum, who has just had a huge scary heart operation on Tuesday. She loves your owls so much!! I am going home to oz for 3 weeks to look after her post op, It is awful being on the other side of the world, (I'm in the UK)! Anyway, this one is for her.
I just got a new craft room (which came with the house we bought), so I'd love to put it to work making a new quilt!

The fabric is beautiful! My sister was teasing me over the weekend about having a new interest in owls. I guess I kept pointing out all the owl shaped beads at the rock store! :) I would probably make some pillows for the couch in my craft room with this, or maybe a small bag for my daughter!

I would probably make a preschooler bag, because my daughter cant wait to go to a playschool, but we didnt have one here on the prairie, ...suprise... now the community starts one in october and we are happy! ( still have the pattern, but no fabrics) And maybe we can make a dollquilt, too, you know I started quilting in may and i love it!!(sorry English is my second language, i hope everyone understands what i want to say!!!)

We are owl fanatics here! I would love to make some fun tote bags, baby lovey blankies, burp cloths, bibs, a travel pillowcase- but my #1 project would be a tiered twirl skirt for my 6yr old! :-)

There are so many cool things that could be made with these owls (my favorite print from you!) that it would be hard to decide. I could make a reuseable grocery bag or two or three, a quilt, a purse, fabric baskets and boxes, a table runner, so many things. I'd probably make curtains for my first ever crafty sewing room in my first ever home. Oh what a wonderful give-away! I love the colours of the solids almost as much as the owls so I think I would make some really cute wall hangings (art quilts?)for my two grand-daughters Skye and Evelina. Leftovers would become part of my ongoing postcard and ATC addiction!! And yes I would probably have to keep a couple of small pieces just for the pleasure of pulling them and looking at them!
I'd have to fondle it for awhile before I was brave enough to cut it up!

Thank you for the chance to win. The fabrics are darling! :) If I were one of the lucky recipients I would use the fabric on projects for my daughter's room. She just turned 3 and loves owls! I'd stretch some over a canvas frame for an instant little pop of cuteness. I did the same thing with one of your owl fabric panels. I added embroidery stitches and few sequins -- it turned out so cute. :)

Yeah! I have not been able to find the new colorways at any local stores. I think I would mix them with some of my other Creatures & Critters that I am saving to make my son a big boy quilt (AKA not crib size) for when he is 3 years old in December.

A quilt of course! Love these animal lines of yours! I've already made a couple quilts with them. I like how they aren't baby boy animals so you can give it as a baby quilt that will grow with the child.
I'd make little pouches for mouses, mini-headphones, USBs, cables. I'd use them to give away to my students as thank-you's and recognition for their hard work in class - they will never have seen anything like them and will love them.
