Good Morning Sunshine

Look what was greeting me this morning in my kitchen window. My favorite flowers all aglow with the sunrise. I love how the window screen texture is visible through the flower petals.

Goings On....

This has been a strange time.... my work routine has been somewhat interuppted - have had lots of family comings and goings... new babies, graduations, parent visits. It is all good, some new directions and fun new clients - breaking down old boundaries and taking a little breather. I am so grateful for my clients and for the opportunity to be designing fabrics. Fabrics are selling well in general and it has been so much fun seeing your projects.

I wish I could show you some of my new work, but cannot until products come to market, but I hope to be posting about it soon. I have some fun fabric news that I will be sharing soon and new collections coming out late summer. In the meanwhile I am really busy preparing work for Surtex.

I am enjoying a spring cleaning and renewal. I hope you are all well and want to thank you for your continued support and readership.

In the meanwhile I want to share some beautiful aerial photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

My Books Arrived

It is always fun to get packages in the mail! Here are some more pix of "Do Dogs Dream?" The printing is a bit darker than the original illos. The book is chock full of great questions about the animal world such as, "Do birds ever get lost?" and "Why do crabs run sideways?"

Recent Etsy Purchases

I am off to MA to see my son's play at college - so excited for him and really looking forward to the trip. Maybe when I get back I will be able to get my head back into actually working, but these last two weeks have been a welcome break after working essentially non stop for quite a while. Aaaaahhhhh, this feels good.

Since I don't have new work I can show you yet, I thought I would share some pics of recent purchases on Etsy.
When I have a sale in my Etsy store I enjoy swapping out my earnings to support other artisans whose work I admire.
