Hello there, I am a big admirer of your work...simply put.....this summer I'm working steadily. I do interactive theatrical storytelling events using beautiful handmade puppets, props, and costumes. I have about 60 bookings this summer! Also working on making WrapADoodle swaddle blankets and other gifts for babies. Will take one week off at the Jersey shore. :) Hope you have a nice summer
Have a new deck, bought a deck recliner three years ago. Hope to take recliner out of box, sit on it and hand stitch til it hurts.
Going to the beach next week with my family and my husband's parents and brother and his wife and daughter! Then we're going to Fargo in August to visit my husband's grandmother whom I've never met :)

I know this is cliche for a quilting blog, but I discovered quilting at the end of last summer. I am a teacher. Choral music. High school kids. Not much time to learn. So...this summer I plan to quilt like it's my job....oh....I also want to swim, do a pilates class twice a week, take walks with my husband, enjoy time with my friends and enjoy my son's wedding!!!! :) (I love summer almost as much as I love your fabrics!)

I plan on trying NOT to work every single day and spending as much time with my 5 yr old as I can before she starts Kindergarten....sniff.
I didn't really have anything planned for the summer but within the last couple of weeks have started riding passenger on a motorcycle and now we have all kinds of weekend day trips planned. I will be touring the great state of Mi from the back of a motorcycle. I am so excited!

i'm going to sew like a crazy woman, but then that's what i always do! hoping for a weekend in san diego with my hubby...we need a vacation! love the fabric as always!

My husband and I purchased an old building in our small town and will spend the summer restoring it to open a quilt shop! I hope to collect stories of the building's past from local residents, maybe even some photos. I will take time out to order quilt fabrics and start sewing pattern samples!

Absolutely adore this bundle of fabric. We'll be visiting my daughter and son-in-law's house on the beach in Brookings, Oregon. Fishing, crabbing, floating, walking on the beach, sleeping. I am ready!
Spending hours at swim practice or swim meets or music gigs....and while chauffeuring and sitting I will be stitching or dreaming of sewing or dreaming of a vacation...oh and a little desert gardening thrown in for good measure lol

this summer we're planning on lots of outside play with my two little ones and a trip or two to the beach in Norfolk, UK.
My dad is taking my 3 children on a cruise for 2 weeks and I plan on spending time with my hubby and sewing, sewing, sewing! This will be the first time in 25 years we'll have the house to ourselves. My youngest daughter and I are also going to NY to look at colleges.

Our summer has already began. We are spending 3 weeks with my in-laws having lots of grand adventures. Then time to rest and relax by pool side and beach side, hit the zoo a few times before year- round school starts in mid- July.

There's no end to the excitement this summer. I'll be baking tons of cookies for my daughter's Pittsburgh wedding later this month and sewing lots of pink baby things while awaiting the arrival of my 6th grandchild due in early September. This year I will finish up 16+ years in Germany and head to FL to live near my first grandchild!! WOOT!

I am going to Italy for a little vacation with my dh (and no kiddos). I'm excited, as we have never had an "alone" vacation :) The rest of the summer will be filled with sewing, gardening, pools, parks and family fun!

This summer... we plan to do lots of raised bed gardening in our little urban yard, lots of biking, hikes in our provincial park nearby, and sprinklers.
A trip to the Oregon Coast (and probably the quilt shop in Cannon Beach). I'm also hoping to work on drafting some adult clothing patterns.

This summer I hope to finish up an art quilt and submit it to the Quilt National juried show. This weekend I hope to gut my closet-sized bathroom and make it large enough to turn around in without bumping into something.
This summer we will sidewalk calk the driveway, run in sprinklers, eat ice cream and snow cones, we will have a backyard "drive in" movie night, camp in the back yard, go to daddy's softball games, play at the park and go to the pool, we will ride bikes and take walks, we will get a suntan, and best of all at the end of the summer we will take a little family trip to the lake. Can't wait!
This summer I hope to get my Upstairs bedroom clened up where I can quilt in it this winter. Hopefully I can get rid of a lot of my stash.

This summer I have a lot on my plate...I will be packing to move to a new apartment across town, getting ready to put my daughter in kindergarten and most of all getting ready to give birth to my second daughter in September. I'm with "Nancy"... I'm planning on moving. I'm in the middle of a short sale right now and so I'm at the mercy of the banks... UGH! So, I have fabric in the plastic containers, and everything else in boxes... now, I just need a date to do this. Moving to the Carolinas to be with family and get into fabric back there.
I'm also moving. Seems to be a trend. :) No other big plans, but I hope to make it a fun one!
I will be creative and hope to learn Adobe illustrator. Love the fabrics...

Oooooo! I love love love the fabric!!! We have cats, and both of our children still have their childhood stuffed-animal lions on their beds.
What am I doing this summer? Spending time with my college kids as they come home, working with small kids (babies and toddlers), doing as much as I can for my frail MIL, hosting a gathering of my old college friends, reading lots of books, keeping cool at the local watering hole, visiting family on the west coast, finishing up a quilting project or two, organizing my sewing room/office, puttering in my small garden... I think that is probably enough to fill one summer. :-)
I plan to enjoy gardening on the weekends since I work full time during the week. I love seeing all the glorious color from the flower beds when I step outside my home. I also plan to wallpaper both bathrooms and have tile laid in my kitchen. And of course I'll make lots of cool stuff from the fabric giveaway that is destined to be mine! :0) This is the cutest fabric ever - I LOVE kitties and have three: MeeMee, Splash and Willie. I am a new mom (5 month old beautiful baby boy) and a full time high school English teacher. My husband lost his job, so instead of staying home with my adorable baby (and I'm not just saying that, he is literally, THE most adorable baby ever),I will be spending my summer teaching repeat 9th grade at an inner city school in Southern California! I don't know where to begin. I am out of school (I am a paraeducator for special needs children) for the first time in several years without having a summer assignment, so I will make cushions for the four grandfathers (four rocking chairs I have rescued over time), I will garden, play with my 4 dogs and 2 cats (and desert tortoise), and sew till I drop!
Hmm...if I am lucky, I might be sewing up something super cute with some new fabric! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!
