Sneak Preview of Upcoming Fabric Collections

I can't show you too much of course, but I am developing two collections for Robert Kaufman - one is based on my flying birds design and a second collection will be safari themed. I am really looking forward to both of these collections and hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating these designs.

Sewing Projects

I sewed up a group of 6" wash cloths from On A Whim 2 and Animal Party Too fabrics.

Also just unpacked my latest Spoonflower fabric - have a cute summer dress pattern planned for this -

I am loving the scale of this fabric -

Surtex

I won't be there, but my work will be. Stop by and see what I have been up to.

Notting Hill

On my recent trip to London, we wound up staying in Notting Hill. I absolutely love this map illustration by Ink Illustration that was hanging in a hotel lobby. Isn't it fabulous?

Wow

I have seen alot of fun creations sewn with the On A Whim Owls - but this dress recently posted to my Flickr Group has to be one of my favorites. This is my longest running fabric I have had to date - it was in my very first collection (On A Whim) with Robert Kaufman and to my surprise, is still going strong.

Color Memories

There is no explaining why color has always been so important to me, but I have been thinking about my beloved box of 64 Crayolas when I was a kid. Funny thing is, my favorite colors then, are my favorite colors still. And the same is true with my least favorite colors.

My favorites were melon, aquamarine, goldenrod, periwinkle, and scarlet. There weren't too many colors I didn't like, but maroon was one of them.

Which are your favorites?
