Here is my entry for the Cooking 4 Kids Contest over at They Draw and Cook.  I seem to be gravitating toward the water, could be Irene drenching the east coast. I hope you all survived without too much difficulty. We were fortunately just south of the landfall. I hope you dry out this week and have a great holiday weekend. See you on the other side of it.

Fly Away

Well, I know no one likes to think about summer ending - but I can feel the crispiness in the air early in the morning now. I am looking forward to the October release of "Fly Away" the new collection for Robert Kaufman. There will be two colorways - sunrise and sunset. I will begin showing you more from the collections - and I will be doing two giveaways after Labor Day - one destashing of some fabrics from previous collections that are now hard to find and some yardage from the new collection.

Remember this post about a fabric I designed and printed on Spoonflower? Well I developed a fabric collection called "Fly Away" which will be released soon by Robert Kaufman. I will keep you posted on release dates etc. And of course, will have a give away once I get my sample yardage. I am looking forward to this collection -

It will include a really fun whimsical panel, a lovely butterfly print, a couple of playful allover bird prints, a new floral, a circle geo, a retro stripe, and of course the flying birds with clouds print in two new and fresh color palletes. Can't wait to share it with you.
